Migration of Sony eBook Store content
Though I have largely migrated over to the Kindle, the Sony PRS-505 still has a place in my heart, largely because of the fine mechanical design. Having something "pocket sized" has a lot of appeal to me, especially if it is as nice as my current model.
My question is this: I've purchased a handful of titles from the Sony eBook store for my PRS-505. Do you suppose there will be some mechanism that would allow me to use those on a new model? Or, will those books be forever married to my current reader?
Similarly, the announcement of support for Macintosh clients is welcomed (one of the reasons I walked away from the 505, really). Has anybody seen a beta of the software or have any idea of migration from the PC client to the Mac client will be easy/difficult/impossible? I suspect "impossible", but I'm a pessimist when it comes to expectations from a primarily PC-oriented company like Sony.
