I think Sony could've added a lot of other features to, such as the 16 grey scale that was previously mentioned. I'd be suprised if it did have a faster page turn. But I think Sony is getting smart and are looking to make things that are affordable so instead of loading it with a lot of features and having a hefty price tag, it seems like they are taking a new approach and are sticking with what works and selling that at an affordable price.
From what I've been reading about Sony in the past, it seems like their attitude was that they made products thinking people will buy it because it's a "SONY" product and Sony can price it as high as they want and load it with a lot of new tech and people will be eager to grab it. But i think the PS3 has changed their perception about themselves and how consumers view their brand. I kind of seeing this happening to Apple, offering good hardware but at a premium.
Seems like Sony is now thinking about making things that people want and what people can actually afford instead of making things that they think people should buy. Smart move if it continues and definately headed in the right direction in my opinion. Hope there next move is to work on improving customer support and offering new features that aren't just released and cost tons of money, but releasing new features that have become affordable and functional.
I also want to see a better discount offered on their other books that aren't on the best sellers list. Seems like other stores out compete them there. I also want to see them come out with much better software. Hope they get some good programmers. In my opinion, the software is very lacking from Sony.
