yes, the PRS-300 is smaller, but not as small as it should have been :
505 (122 x 172 x 8mm)
300 (107.8 × 157.5 × 10.2 mm)
600 (121 × 174.3 × 9.8 mm)
The PRS-505 have a screen that is 44% bigger than the 300. But according to the leaked service manual the PRS-505 body is only 23% bigger. The bezel is comparatively bigger on the 300.
As they dropped the audio jack, and two memory card slots, I would have expected the PRS-300 to be comparatively smaller.
According to the manual the 300 is thicker too. Perhaps they used plastic instead of aluminium for the 300, we will know more soon.
