My wife who is reading more and more on her PDA want an e-ink reader too. I considered buying her a PRS-300 and keeping the 505, but I 'm disappointed with the 300 form factor -the 300 looks as big as the 600 with its large screen bezel-.
The 300 is smaller than the 600. The photos you see have a blown up version of the 300 next to the 600... so the bezel looks alot biger since it is out of proportion. I did see a photo of them side by side somewhere.... hmm...

Can't find it right now.
