I live near the Blue Ridge Mountains, too, only in the Shenandoah Valley area (just off Skyline Drive) of Virginia. I'm not in my mid-50's yet , just the beginning of the 50's and am definitely NOT a senior citizen (shame on you cassidym for even suggesting it ).
