But of course, the "beauty" of the internet (and USENET before it) is anybody can make up their own definitions.

I just don't like to see a developer/vendor getting griefed for trying to establish a conversation with actual/potential customers. Especially at a time when a lot of their counterparts are setting up iron curtains of silence...

Just shrug it off.
