I'm a professional playwright and I've been reviewing this site for about a month now. I need a device to both write and read. The more I keep looking at these ereaders, the more I start thinking that I'll miss the functionality of an integrated unit. I know I'm going to blaspheme here but shouldn't we be looking at pda and smart phones which do ereading adequately? It seems to me the software is what really makes the reader. If you need more pixels then you need a laptop. That is the way I see the whole ereader niche. I think Nate has put us on the right track with his recommendation of the Jornada. I would like to see more effort in this direction. If I'm in the wrong place to discuss portable multipurpose units, would someone be kind enough to suggest another site?
