Thanks Jen... I'll give that a go as another possible work-around. Like I said I can still convert it to another format within Calibre and then send it across and it works fine also. I'm more interested as to "why" this is even happening in the first place. You hinted that perhaps it was because the book was too large for calibre to handle, yet "Scratch Monkey" by Charles Stross is a short story on feedbooks, and is also screwing up. I'm thinking there's some specific, (rarely used), formatting in that and other epub ebooks ("Blindsight" by Peter Watts) which stops it working on the 505. Our conversion work-arounds would be one way of getting rid of that... but perhaps there's a known issue and bug fix that would stop the problem all together?
