As usual, when we try to do something, it both takes longer and costs more than we thought. With no warning, my brake pads on the Tracker went out. This is usually a fifteen minute job for Chris, and brake pads aren't that expensive. Counting on that fact, and taking into consideration that we had to take Jay to the airport yesterday, Chris started on this job about 5 this afternoon. Only to find out that the parts store gave him the wrong brake pads, and plus that, the piston on one side is frozen. This means another $80.00 in parts that will have to come out of the savings account, and the work will have to wait til tomorrow, when the parts store and the bank are open. To add insult to injury, it's supposed to rain tomorrow.
