Highlights according to the info:
- 512MB memory internal (around 480MB effective user memory,compared to half for the 505)
- 7500 page turns (compared to 8000 on the PRS-500 series)
- Freehand highlighting and annotation
- Built-in Oxford American English eDictionary (=new)
- Intuitive eBook Library software for PC & Mac (God help us!)
- 5 adjustable Font sizes to customize your reading experience (3 on the 505)
- Screen Size: Vizplex 6 inches
- Resolution: 800 x 600 pixels
- Gray Scale: 8-levels gray scale
- 6.9" L x 4.8" W x 4" D (.1" thicker than the 505, but less wide than the 700)
- Weight: 10.1 oz. (9 oz for the PRS505, 10oz for the PRS700)

- Media Formats Supported:
Unsecured Text: EPUB File (Non DRM/ Adobe DRM protected), BBeB Book (Non DRM/ PRS DRM protected), PDF file (Non DRM/ Adobe DRM protected)
- DRM Text: Text file, RTF file, Word file (unsecured) <-(?? Unsecured yet DRM-med word file makes no sense. Is this .doc??)

- Audio: MP3, AAC (Knew it, Sony's proprietary format comes along... .OGG or .WMA would have made more sense,since perhaps people will want to listen to an audio book, but not at 256kbits AAC encoded)
- Image: JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP (I doubt .gif will mean animated .gif).

Supplied Accessories:
- USB Cable (again no AC adaptor included, but it seems the same one as the PSP)

Rest seems about the same as the PRS-505
