So frustrating, isn't it. I wish I could help people who are moving (and then get the same help back). I hate moving house, so expensive and physically draining. I'm staying where I live now because me and my housemate can't be bothered to move. It's more hassle than it's worth.

Hope everything has gone well for you tirsales - I am staying in a house that isn't perfect because moving is too much hassle. I admire you for putting up with moving hassle so that you can move. Really, moving is rubbish. Can't wait to own a home/flat so that I can stay in one place for more than 18 months! Moving is a real achievement be pleased you have survived. It's always more difficult than you expect, so pat yourself on the back
