As I know Bookeen is a small company with a few people, and they may didn't have enought manpower to correct all bugs, add functionality, design new products, contact resellers, modify the website to add new products etc...

Making a new product, or a new firmware is not just 'Ho I want a new firmware. Hop it's done and I put it on my website magicaly"
First thing - correct bugs! Second thing - fulfill promises made concerning updated features set! *THIRD* thing - don't piss all over resellers (Yep. NAEB.)! Fourth thing to do - develop alternative models...

And yes, if Bookeen hasn't made it possible to easily swap between mobi and epub firmware, I'm gonna continue to vent. If Bookeen doesn't make a LiveSD version available, I'm gonna vent. If Bookeen doesn't take the profit-oriented approach of creating a market for firmware that will also run on the other EB-600 clones... well, that's just poor marketing.
