OK, I just got an eMail from Sony today, announcing "new releases". The first is by Barack Obama.
According to Amazon.com, the Senator's written two books:
_Dreams_from_My_Father_, published in 2004 ($8.97 paperback, $17.91 hardcover)
_The_Audacity_of_Hope_, published in 2006 ($13.75 hardcover)
On Sony Connect we now have:
_Dreams_from_My_Father_ for $14.36 - almost $5 more than the PB
On eBooks.com we have:
_Dreams_from_My_Father_ for $10.95 and
_The_Audacity_of_Hope_ for $16.15
The titles they both have are 30% cheaper, and Sony has only half of the books published by the first author I picked at random from their own book newsletter!
This has nothing to do with Senator Obama, this is about buying an eBook product that claims to handle Adobe PDF and then finding out that it ONLY accepts public domain and Sony proprietary eBooks.
