Even though it's not illegal here in Virginia, we have a steadfast rule in our house ~ no talking on the cell phone while driving unless it's an emergency. Shannon has tried to get around that a few times by calling and asking a question that she "thinks" is an emergency.

When she turned 22 and started working, she thought the rule didn't apply anymore until I reminded her that she's still living in our house, so the rules still apply!
Motorists talking on cell phones in the car is one of my biggest pet peeves.

I mean, really, what did they do before cell phones?!?!
