I could not read DRM-free eReader (PNPdPPrs) ebooks - they are not even listed. However, PalmDOC (TEXtREAd) ebooks are readable. Both are in .pdb files, as are several other ebook formats (
wiki: PDB). Since the eReader app will read PalmDOC files too, perhaps that is what you tried. The way to tell is to use an editor to look for the File Code.
Robertb has said that eReader will be added later.
