Hmmm...I just finished Along Came a Spider and still not blown away (or even moderately appeased) - so far he is sitting alongside Dan Brown in the circular file of my opinions. I do have a copy of 1st to Die though that a friend leant me (along with the other two - she likes Dan Brown...) so if you think I might like this one better (please no first person narrative) I am willing to give it a try some day. At least its a quick read.
