I was frantically running around trying to get connected (and having serious MR withdrawels) when my son calmly unplugged the cable modem, waited 10 seconds, and plugged it back in. Problem solved! Heh Heh! I do that all the time here at work, and they think I'm a genius! Anything happens, they call me. I'll fiddle around with it a bit to look like I know what I'm doing, then pull the plug. If it restarts nice and clean, then I leave them watching the screen while antivirus does a full 2 hr scan. I warn them to jiggle the mouse every so often so it doesn't go to screensaver and mess up the scan.
