Update:
Aaron is still in critical condition. His bp is holding up with less of the bp meds. But, his tissue is not absorbing oxygen. He is also now off the meds that make your blood vessels constrict. Which is awesome. His sugar levels are high so they are giving him insuline. His liver is still not functioning like it should, so they can't give tylenol for fever so all they can do is a cooling blanket. His kidneys are doing pretty well, though. They found some fluid in his lung but can't put in a tube because if they cut him he could bleed to death, his platelets are so low (they gave him a full bag of platelets on Saturday). They want to do a CT scan but don't want to move him. But he is still conscious and responsive.
All in all, his condition has greatly improved. He's definitely fighting it. I'm going to try and go back and see him today.
