Nice tips. I think there are a lot of folks that can use them.
As for the distro, I'm not surprised -- Jaunty is available for ARM, (but I have
no idea how to add it -- maybe just add a repository? That would be the simplest.)
Mer is based on Jaunty, I believe -- but until it supports a USB keyboard at the command prompt, it is unusable as-is. I crashed out several times with recent builds, and all you can do is reboot. Kinda sucks.
If you know how to get Jaunty onto these, and you can explain it, you'd be a hero.
You'd be my hero if you figure out how to get a keyboard working in Mer.
