delphidb: $150 would not cover all the hardware of the device. Maybe the Opus will go to $200 one day, I don't know, why not? but actually until PVI/E ink have a monopolistic position on the production of ePaper screen, I really doubt that the screen price will go down... (and the screen is the most expensive part of the device. I heard price from $70 to $100 for a 6inch PVI E ink display. And the LG counterpart will not cut the price, since there is a conflict of interest between E ink and PVI.
Actually, for $150 you may get a PCB and a screen without anything else, and I'm not sure that I am right... It could be more expensive.
