Here is my process, takes about a minute per article:
1. I select and copy all of the information on the web page (for multiple pages repeat steps 1 & 2)
2. I paste the data on to a Word page that I have created a template for "Sony Reader" which is formatted to the Reader size with 0.2" boarders.
3. I Select All (Ctrl-A) and then up-shift all text (Ctrl-Shift +<) until the text body is to my liking (20pt in my case).
4. Print to PDF with the following settings:
- Smallest File Size
- Page Size: Sony Reader (I have predefined the size)
5. Open the "Printed" PDF and paste the Title & Author info into Properties, and Save.

This is the result I get
