Post EPIC awards comp open

The Electronically Published Internet Connection (EPIC) has opened its 11th annual e-book competition. Previously the award name was EPPIE but has now changed to EPIC to avoid a legal battle as another contest trademarked a similar name. Currently, the membership is working on the perfect name for the contest, and that name will be unveiled at EPIC's gala awards banquet. The submission entry period for the current 2010 competition runs from July 15th, 2009 through August 15th, 2009 and entry fees are USD 25 to 35 (for members, non members pay USD 10 more). The competition is open to all genres of e-publishing released for sale in the English language. E-books can be written by EPIC members or non-members, published by conglomerates, indie, e press, or even self-published - all are welcome to enter this competition.
