Your question, "Please indicate how much of each energy source you believe the United States should use to produce electricity in the future, say around the year 2030" is flawed.
The answers allow for a potential of more than 1000% total. The poll answers shouldn't allow for the individual sources to total more than 100%. There is no option to select 0 for any source, only less than 10%. Even answering "less than 10%" for every item exceeds 100%. Perhaps the secret to more efficient energy production is better math
(example: As the question is formed you could select that you think 100% of US energy should come from oil
and solar
and biofuel. By the way, energy conservation is one of the possible answers. That's not a production source of energy.)
