oooh, lucky ! that is a gorgeous area. i've not been specifically there but i visited Belvès (a bit to the south of there) a long time ago and it was stunning, and a couple of years ago i went to the Cap Ferret on the Bassin d'Arcachon, near bordeaux ; magnificent place. i hope to go back sometime.
i am sure you'll have a great time, you are bringing the party with you ! and usually that region has good weather (better than paris, for sure).
