Sony just needs to add support for JPEG 2000 stream decoding in their PDF viewer (Google) and fix their PDF rendering engine to recognize it is rendering for a 16 level monochromatic display and that 255 should
not cause error distribution.
Neither of these should have presented a technical challenge to Sony. I'm curious as to why they haven't patched these issues yet.
