i just hope she gets better soon, this is a stinking hell!
Multiply that times 18 and you have my life most days.

OK .... finished mucking out the fountains and doing the maintenance on the motors. Last load of laundry is in for the day (except for the mats under the litter boxes, and I'll put those in before I go to bed tonight).

Mower is now running, but I really want the battery start to work as well (which it doesn't), so I'm going to order a new battery and fuse tomorrow (and have a little talk with the folks at Toro because most of their freaking site doesn't work!!!), and try to run down a service manual so that I have at least a little guidance as to what the heck I am doing.

You know ... small rant here .... originally the evil developer and realty people here told me that yard work would be part of the amenities. I came from living in a condo, I did NOT want to have to mow a lawn. Then, that turned out to be a lie. So, I gave room and board to someone who was supposed to help around the house - including mowing the lawn - and that person turned out to be lazier than all hell, and then just up and moved out (after hitting me up for $3,000 in advance of wages), so then I had to start mowing the lawn. Then, the mower dies, and I get someone to help me put it in the car, and take it to town, leave it for three weeks, and the people at the shop say "nothing wrong with it, that'll be $25.00". I take it home and it works ONCE and then stops again. So, now I have to learn how to repair the stupid lawn mower because I am not (repeat NOT) taking back into town and leaving it for three more weeks just to be ripped off.

So, I tinkered with the motor today, and it is now starting on one pull, which is good, but the battery is still not charging, and the electrical start is DOA. Oh, and my back hurts. I'm going to go lie down.
