I prefer a left aligned (indented
ala lists) TOC, but a well done tabular i.e. rectangular centered one is also appealing (symmetry-wise). The hourglass centered ones are cute, but not as "professional" looking, IMHO.
But, you can't please everyone, so just go with what appeals to your senses (as well as many of your downloaders...
)
