I have both a 505 and 700. I bought the 700 first and later got a great deal on the 505 ($150). Now, I find that I use the 505 almost exclusively although I do miss the greater speed and the touch-screen; the 700 is clearly far better than any other reader in navigation and organizing collections. That said, I'm older and appreciate the screen on the 505 enough to use it most of the time. I'll probably sell the 700 to a set of younger eyes -- don't really need two readers.
