Stick with a Sony for your wife so the books you already have will work on her Sony. It's a time saver and money saver. Especially if some of what she wants is from the Sony eBookstore and those you cannot put on a Kindle at all. The DX is a disaster in termst of the software on board. The K2 is not compatible. So basically, another Sony is your best bet.
