We have torrents of rain in Wales. Whatever happened to this year's predicted heatwave?

Zelda, maybe it's time to annoy your landlord by making him do some repairs. Surely you don't have the only faulty window in your building? Maybe several tenants could jointly request that he organises some maintenance?
