I have the same pback edition - but it's a bit bulky for lugging about. Considering it's a book for life, not just a one-off read, I think I can justify the expense.
I did the same with Clive James' Cultural Amnesia - I bought both (and I should give Clive and his publishers a bit of kudos for going DRM-free).

I've got Bertrand Russell's on my shortlist of pbooks to buy next time I'm in Brisbane. I haven't even one-off read it yet, but it's a TBR queue-jumper.
