Interesting. I believe the ones they showed us in San Diego back in September were all suede, so they may indeed have changed them in the meantime. Maybe Bob Russell remembers better....
That's one of the reasons I've stuck with the stock case for general carrying around purposes: I didn't want to mess with the suede. If they've switched to smooth, I may have to reconsider.
