In Chicago, a heat wave was when the temps reached into the 100's and people were dying because they didn't have air conditioning. I will admit to being in Orlando for two weeks when the combination of heat and humidity had people dropping like flies. The problem for me was I was suffering from plantar fasciitis, and so I could barely walk, and trying to get around Disneyworld in that situation damn near killed me. I still think it was a great trip, however.
