So glad to hear Max made it okay.

When we first got the late Monty, he was once badly sick overnight (shivering, obviously in pain moving, even his head). We stayed up all night, and should have called the vet. We didn't, and luckily he came to in the morning as if nothing had happened (we subsequently suspected "pet friendly" snail pellets). We pay more care now (instead of applying the same poor standards we apply to our own health ), even though such care didn't save him later on.
