Generally, 700 handles pdf very well, but there's a nuisance here : It can't remember your zoom configuration, you have to set zoom configuration every page. It's fine if you have to digest the page thoroughly, but it's a little annoying if you just flip through.
the way I read pdf (mostly technical stuff)
1, set to lanscape orientation.
2, press zoom button.
3, touch zoom tool.
4, touch plus sign to zoom in several times (depending on the original text size).
5, touch to navigate in the same page.
6, press next page button to quit zoom (still in the same page).
7, press next page button to go to the next page.
8, repeat step 2 to step 7 to read next page.
as you can see, some times those redundant steps really can be a pain in the posterior. I really hope sony release a firmware to fix it in the near future, also a dictionary would be nicer.
