Another way to create perfect document without purchasing Adobe in-design would be to use LaTeX.
Of course, once the technology and the market both mature, and publishers start to give a damn (which they definitely do not yet) all of this will be done by publishers--at which time JSWolf will doubtless go back to paper books in protest.

Do you really want some LaTeX templates, by the way?
