the way it work and why it work is usb has a number of unit each at 1v for usb 2 and 1.5v for usb 3.0(coming out this year. more use next year likly)

any usb can request up to 5 units on usb 2 and 6 units on usb 3.0

not realy sure how they are going to handle uping the power output per unit of usb3 with usb2 devices.

thoght I saw somthing about procket using mini or mico usb...but that may have been mini or mico sd.
