I've noticed this. I have a phone/watch that can ONLY be charged with the included USB cable. If I use any other cable, I get a surge or power failure, causing me to remove/replace the battery to get it to power back on. Which means I have to take this cable with me everywhere, instead of using the ones I have at work.

Arrgggh!!
