South Texas is in a pretty serious drought. We had the lowest two month rainfall on record in Houston in May and June and we've had none in July. We can't expect much rain for the next few months unless we get a tropical storm or hurricane. Fortunately, we should be headed into an El Niņo which should bring us above average rainfall this coming winter.
