We were too late to get Alexander McCall Smith tickets for the festival (although we did get Neil Gaiman tickets, so that's only half a vent/rant).
My 'colleagues' (who all got jobs) seem to have forgotten about all the little chats around 'sensitivity' and/or have developed the notion that joblessness is contagious.
Having crap feet sucks when it comes to having to buy shoes, and comfortable shoes only last so long.

YAY, MY FAVOURITE FAIRY IS...what? What?
{sigh}
Why do people do this? I mean, I quite clearly wrote, carved into the wall with a battleaxe and filled with a mixture of freely-donated PNS-blood and napalm and then set on fire, in multiple languages with 2-metre tall lettering...
1. DON'T FRAK WITH THE FAIRY!

Why can't real life be like MR-life?
I hope things get better for you, Mindy. This gibbon's long arms would wrap their hugs around you eleventy times for reassurance (purely with your permission, of course, and with the understanding not to get "grabby") if it helped.
[Marc: What he said...except my arms aren't as long. Also, the headaches...migraines? If not, MRI?]
Yours unfailingly,
