I think it depends on the format and its capabilities to convey font characteristics. Very few of the eBooks that I have obtained use more than one font. I believe that the Mobipocket format is "font-challenged" more than the other formats, but I could be wrong. I think I have this one book for both the Kindle & Sony, so will see about comparing them.
