I wasn't going to bother registering it, but I gave in to the temptation and bought the ebook I was looking for from 'Books on board' UK site. When I registered with them they offered a promotion of 27% off, so I couldn't resist at £3.57p.

I've d/l loaded it and can read it with 'adobe digital' on the laptop, but need to get it onto the reader. There doesn't seem to be way of doing that without registering with Sony.

Or am I missing something?
A few questions:
  • What format is the eBook (ie. ePUB? or .pdf)?
  • Have you created an Adobe ID?
  • Have you authorized your computer with this Adobe ID?
  • Have you authorized your reader with this Adobe ID?

If you have done all of the above, you can import the eBook into the ADE library, connect your reader and copy to the device. You shouldn't need to authorize with SONY unless you need to purchase Books from the eBook Store that are in .lrx drm'd format.

WDE.
