I'm no expert, but I suspect that the refresh speed would be much too low for most computer applications. The e-paper technology is best suited for displays that don't need refreshing very often, and where the slow refresh rate is acceptable. It wouldn't be suitable, for example, for scrolling a web page or dragging icons around.
But I'm willing to be proved wrong.
