I had the options of all three colours, but decided on the silver. It's just more stylish than the blue*. I like that the light grey, matte finish blends in well with the screen itself - the text stands out, and the device slides into the background of one's attention. It's a 'book', not a 'device'.
*Then I bought the decidedly non-stylish bubble-gum pink cover....
