Loving it! Got a vinyl skin to protect it from scratches (and personalize it a bit), plus oberon cover to protect the screen when i drag it around w/ me in my backpack.

I've read 3 or 4 books so far on it and really like it. One handed reading is so much easier when eating lunch, or laying in bed before falling asleep. GF is very jealous so far, but wants to borrow it all the time. The button click is quiet (read some complaints), and hasn't woken GF up yet. I've read in bright light w/o issue, no fading of the screen that i've noticed yet.

I'm reasonably impressed with the whispernet. Found some dead spots out in the boonies visiting a friend, but mostly get coverage everywhere (sometimes the slower connection - that's ok). Battery life w/ whispernet is underwhelming, but like most i leave it off unless i need it.

Gmail on it is slow, but in a pinch it works. I've even done some quick cursory shopping on amazon for non-book items and shown pics (greyscale and all) while sitting at a BBQ.

I've done the screensaver mod and like having my own pics. Using Calibre to create my own .mobi from NYTimes, Endgaget, etc works great. Pics from endgaget especially were surprisingly good for greyscale.

Overall i'm very happy with it. I'm reading more often, but staying up late... Need to get GF one soon so she isn't annoyed by always reading... ; )
