I think there's no need to go as far as to outsource, it would completely suffice if Bookeen went opensource. But, of course, in such case they might not be bound by "exclusive" contracts with mobipocket and such, as they are now.

Outsourcing surely wasn't devised in countries where jobs are now outsourced to.
