Well, I have a comfy chair and good tea at my own place.

But I think ebooks can be sold in brick and mortar stores--let people browse the books in the bookstore (or let the booksellers handsell them), then the customer takes the book to cashwrap, pays for it, receives a code, and downloads it from the kiosk to an SD card or to their device (or can go home and download it on their computer if they prefer, or if they don't have their device/card with them).
You'd think booksellers would love such a system--I know lots of people who have read entire books sitting in the cafe of a bookstore, without buying them!
