I've also picked up a few of the Sony PSP Data/Charger Cables for about $2 each from dealextreme.com. They will charge reliably from any usb port (thru the power plug) and work as a data cable as well. Free shipping (from HK) takes about 2 weeks. This company is very reliable--been ordering from them for over a year now.
