Just went and got a bunch of fireworks (for the benefit of the grandchildren, of course) and will shoot them off in the drive. Since I live in pretty much the geographic center of La Crosse, I looked longingly at the mortar shells and big ass boomers, but had to pass. It will be a fountain show only...
