And, there's a serious burn ban going on here, so no fireworks are being allowed anywhere in Llano County. More than likely, I will curl up with a good book that day. I got a little "burned out" (no pun intended) on fireworks when I lived in San Diego. I lived right by the harbor, and they had them almost every night during the summer.
I'm convinced that's why my dogs just don't care about lightning and thunder. They just think it's fireworks, and what's the big deal? We can have a massive storm, and they just lie there in their kennel sound asleep.
